So often we will focus on our weaknesses and the strength of others.
Where we failed and others succeeded.
Where we lack and others have plenty.
We will look at our age. We’re too young or too old.
We will look at our relationship status maybe our husband’s are shrinking back instead of standing strong.
Maybe we’re praying for her husband that hasn’t come yet and looking at others and deciding they have it all together because of the Husband by their side.
All of the comparison will bring self rejection. That’s another topic for another day. Any measure of rejection can keep you from moving forward.
Today I simply wanted to encourage you.
It’s not about your age, your marital status, your past or your present, what you have or what you don’t have. It’s not about your natural ability or even your gifts. It's not about your title, or your position.
It’s about your heart.
“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him...””
II Chronicles 16:9 NKJV
The Lord is looking and De desiring to show Himself strong on your behalf.
Listen, beloved, you are loved and accepted. God sees you and cares deeply about you.
If you have judged yourself unworthy, judged your abilities or lack of, if you have looked at others and your longing has turned to jealousy - you fill in the blank, but take a minute and simply repent to the Lord.
Open your heart and share with Him. Release to Him the sin of comparison and self rejection that you have been holding.
Ask the Lord to cleanse you from what you have been holding.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
I John 1:9 NKJV
And then simply position your heart to Him:
“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.””
Isaiah 6:8 NKJV
Here I am Lord.
I am available.
My heart is Yours.
Send me.

Life is full.
Responsibilities are real.
